Vi är specialiserade på jord som byggmaterial. Tillsammans med designers, byggherrar och kreatörer utforskar vi jordens arkitektoniska potential och skapar unika projekt. I över 10 år har vi arbetat med ”rammed earth” eller ”pisé”, en teknik där jord pressas i en form och skapar massiva element av monolitisk karaktär. Tekniken förvandlar jord till hållbara konstruktioner med ett naturligt och tidlöst uttryck.

Varför jord?
Jord är ett naturmaterial, det är lokalt, cirkulärt och med låg klimatpåverkan. Jord är ett av världens äldsta byggmaterial, och samtidigt ett av framtidens.

earthLAB startades 2013 av Ásgeir Sigurjónsson från Island, Shea Hagy från USA, och David Escobar från Mexiko.
